Solid-State Power Modulators

The modulator shown below, developed for HRL Laboratories, generates 2 kW output power in 100 ns pulses of up to 20 kV.

Linear Amplifiers

The amplifiers pictured below were delivered to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for use on a heavy ion induction accelerator program. The units generated programmable waveforms 1 ms to 4 ms in duration at up to 1.5 kV output voltage and at up to 88 kHz prf. The units can deliver over 0.5 kA to the induction cell load and provide a reset pulse for the induction cell between the programmed waveforms.
